Hi i purchased my dual sim hisense U970 about 2 years ago. its a nice phone and the camera is reasonable but not the best really. i loved the fact that it was a dual phone. The only issue i had with the phone is the battery. the battery is always a problem after some time . i replaced it once and the same issue occured . so if you are that person who multitasks on your phone i wouldnt advise this phone as the battery will surely dissapoint you.

Not selling anymore. Original or compatible battery? Compatible battery can be poor quality, so instead of paying hefty price for original part think about a new phone.

Try Huawei Y3 2018 R999. A phone from Telkom or Cell C agents will be dual SIM.
Nokia 1 @THE same price, but check for dual SIM.

You can also find Vodacom Kicka 4 at the price below R400. A good cheap phone. All come with a new Android Oreo Go.

Same story with the Hisense U972 I got for my mom just over a year ago. She still loves it, but the battery life was poor right out of the box. Batteries are available if you're willing to import, but they're going to set you back in excess of R200, and like you said, they're not that good to begin with.

I'm not sure if this is the case with all Hisense phones, but this certainly was enough to put me off their mobiles phones for life.
