The continued inability and unwillingness of the Gautrain management to take serious measures to secure their stations beyond lip service and toothless security guards has cost them a lot of my business. Having been hauled out of an Uber by thugs while Gautrain security just watched, saying they didn’t want to escalate things, I now just Uber directly from the airport. Problem solved.
So the metered taxi guys at the airport don't misbehave anymore?

Mine cost about R150 more expensive. But company pays, and have luggage so I prefer itI do the same thing. It works out like R20 more expensive - money well spent. It is a lot faster too. I mean, the problem with the Gautrain is that you have to wait for it, often 20 minutes.
