I have a customer who has 2 Ubiquiti APs in their house to boost the signal.

One appears to not be working as an area which had good signal before now has none. The APs were installed about 6 - 8 years ago by a person no longer in the country. The client has no login details or anything else for them.

I need to connect to said devices but it seems there's no web interface to do so. I tried the Unifi app but it requires a login (which I don't have, though I could create an account).

Basically, I've never worked with these before so some assistance would be appreciated. Do I need to use the Unifi app to configure the devices? If so, and I have no details, will a factory reset be required? They're in the ceiling so I imagine I'd need to get physical access to them in order to perform the reset?

They have a physical reset button, use that to reset to factory settings and regain access via the unifi controller app.. there are a multitude of ways to run the controller, I will leave how you want to run it up to you and Google to decide..

Once in the unifi controller app, adopt the two aps and configure SSID for WiFi etc..
