Ubiquity POE Injector + UPS

Hi All, so we're in the process of having a wisp service setup for home/work use. The receiver is powered by a Ubiquity POE Injector which uses a kettle type plug for power direct from the wall socket.
I currently have a 100W Elecstor UPS which i am using for an lte router, the lte has become too unreliable.

Is there someway for me to power this POE Injector from the UPS I have? Or if not, what can you recommend for use?

I would want something that does not require switching over to when loadshedding hits, I want it 100% uptime as far as possible.

You would need a UPS with PoE ports to power the receiver, which will replace the PoE injector..

If I was looking at the right model, your elecstor UPS likely does not have PoE ports..

That or a power station, ideally one with a UPS function to avoid needing to manually do changes for power when loadshedding hits..

Nope, no poe ports, didn't think I would need it. We weren't planning on moving a year ago.

I'm looking for the cheapest option here. That's a lot cheaper than a new UPS.

Depends.. the input for that barrel jack on this PoE injector would need to be 12v, as that is what your current UPS seems to supply..

However, PoE power is typically not 12v, especially not in the case of ubiquity equipment..

You would therefore need to verify the PoE voltage for your new receiver and then find a PoE injector with a 12v barrel jack input that can output the power your receiver needs..
