Ubuntu 9.10 Netbook Remix

I was wondering if anybody has tried out the new Ubuntu Netbook remix? Is it any good?

I was using Netbook remix 9.04 but I didn't like it very much. My biggest problem was that UNR did not handle the sound on my Compaq Mini really well (which is shocking since Ubuntu 9.04 had no problems at all)

When 9.10 came out I immediately formatted my netbook and installed the desktop version on my mini. It has no problems running it, but I don't want to miss out on something that's new in Netbook Remix...

Can anybody comment on the new Netbook Remix? Is it worth switching?
 
9.10 rocks !!!!!!

I did not want to install remix when I updated to 9.10 as the 9.04 was awful. Well I gave it a go and it super schweet. 9.10 actually makes my Aspire One useful and it no longer just gathers dust (like for the last 10mths).
 
I also run UNR 9.10 on my Aspire One, and it is now more used than my desktop pc. Actually I run UNR 9.10 on my desktop pc as well, I liked it so much. I realized that icons on the desktop and the old "start" menu is unnecessary. I like the UNR interface more.
 
I have both 9.04 and 9.10 installed on my netbook - I intended to upgrade from 9.04 to 9.10 and didn't realize that the 9.10 desktop installer would resize my partitions and install itself alongside 9.04.

I should have used the 9.10 Alternate iso image [which I didn't have at the time], which allows one to upgrade 9.04.

One thing I have noticed on my desktop PC, at work, is that the VMware Workstation 6.5.3 Linux .bundle installer script hangs in 9.10 [after upgrading from 9.04 where VMware Workstation was installed and working - mostly] :(.
 
Been running this for a while on my netbook... There is a thread on netbook remix already :P

Thanks for all the input on the new UNR.

I simply wanted opinions regarding the 9.10 version, as 9.04 was a waste of time.

I decided to format my netbook as soon as I have time so as to install UNR 9.10
