1-0 to milan and United is out. milan need to win unless united score two at the san siro which is possible but we'll prob leak more goals...defense is not looking good for ManU. Evra was poor tonight...overall passing as well for the first 60mins.

hope fergie doesnt take the weekend game too lightly and want to concentrate on the champs league. Winning the league is very crucial...

anyways 5am here in HK...off to bed. have to work 2moro :( worth it staying up for the game though...was an awesome game. Both teams didn't sit back and tkae the odd chance. Ka ka is an awesome player...maybe chelsea will sign him for 60 mil seeing that they want to sign Villa for 45 mil pounds. They'll just flop like Shevchenko did.

they should not have come out and defended against a poor united defence giving the strikers the option to attack

Dont be so sure...we're going to Milan with a 2nd team defense. Milan is very formidable at home. Hope United can show some guts and defend well.

i am very confident now. That third goal puts us firmly in the driving seat.

In 99 we went to Juve needing to win. And we did just that, despite noone giving us a chance.

No we are just 6 games away from emulating that treble success.
 
how good were the buildups to Rooney's two goals? Fletcher is showing some class finally and being more consistent now. Starting enjoy his status as a ManU player.

Yes indeed. Best game fletcher has had in a United shirt. He was everywhere and really showed commitment throughout.

I thought it was maybe Ronaldo's worst game for a while. Always looking to take that extra touch or beat that extra defender and not passing much.

However, we also passed to him way to much. Often someone was wide open on the right, but we always opted for the cross-field ball to give Ronaldo the ball and make him do all the work.
 
ronaldo got a bit arrogant there after his PFA awards it seems and the attention he's getting. Want to do the job himself...What I've noticed which is a good thing is that Ronnie attracts defenders like mad. Use him as a decoy and open up the defense. Ronnie just has to pass it on when all three defenders try to take him on and Rooney/Giggs/Scholes/Carrick can finish the job.

Yeah. He is still a great player. The best United has had for a long time and I think it is a lot to do with the work that Fergie did with him when he was still young and raw.

This ***a lad is not bad, but our defence mad him look way better than he is. Ronaldo on the other hand can take on any defence in the world, and beat them.

Actually I would like to think he is waaaaaaaaaaaay much better than u give him credit for... IMO him and Ronaldo will be competing for European player of the year.

I agree, but Ronaldo is still better in my opinion, a more versatile player. And i also agree that he does usually take the dribbling too far , but he delivers the results.

How will our back four look next leg? ... are ferdinand and the others fit.
If they are we can expect an even better performance from man.
 
Ka'ka proved how outrageous it was/is to tout C.Ronaldo as the best player in the World, as good as he is he will never have the finesse and elegance of Ka'ka. Not to mention Ronaldinho.

they have no played well and neither has ***a, one good game does make you better than ronaldo who has been doing it ever game

I think Liverpool will take it at home and face mighty United in the final :)
