UEFA Champions League

Ubercal, Angelo, if you don't like English football then go ahead and make another thread so u two can chat abt other stuff and maybe hit it off together whilst u at it. We're not here to insult each other abt which league is better and why the one is a noob or whatever is an idiot if he prefers one league.

The fact is 3 English teams are in the semi-finals in the Champs League. Ronaldo is the best player of the year, not necessarily of all time.

We're discussing champs league here where 3 English teams are in the champs league. Not abt how crap or dumb English soccer watchers are!!! :(

its going to be an all english final, need to move on and look ahead :)

chelsea will go through if crouch does not, if he does liverfool will go through

Exactly. The reason people talk about english footy is cos it is good. As the CL finalists show.

Some of the best are. There are some great English players as well

Gerrard, Lampard, Scholes, Rooney, Joe Cole, Carrick (:)), Neville G,

Really? Wow,

United will concede I am sure but the way they are playing right now they can always score more than the opposition. Lots of games ending 2-1, 3-2 and 4-2 on the weekend :)

Didn't he already flop at barcelona?

Hugo Viana was also highly rated before he went to play for newcastle and he never made it.

Goes to show that just because they impress in a little league doesn't mean they have what it takes to step up to the challenge of playing in a big league.

Gerrard is good, and Rooney gets all the best balls from Ronaldo... the rest are aaawwwrite.

That was just a few off the top of my head from the big teams.

Plenty of the smaller, less fashionable sides have some promising talent as well...

I think 2-1 to United or maybe even 2-2. There will be goals...

Lampard has performed really well for Chelsea this season. Take him and Terry away and they have nothing.

Good players yes. But the games that Chelsea played without Terry they have been poor and conceded lots of goals.

Without the thrust of Lampard in the midfield they wont score many either.
 
yeah true but i think Drogba would be a bigger loss
