Really? For me he blows hot and cold too much, like Henry. On his day noone can stop him,, but he has off-days as well. Lampard's consistency is what makes him good. Like Ronadlo.
 
Henrys had an awful season due to injuries etc cant wait to see him and van Persie fully fit next season.. and hopefully we get to see Ribery in the premier league :) that'd be great..
 
hj2k IF u knew anthing about football [excluding English ] , you would know that Dida is one of the best shot stoppers in the game.However he is hopeless at crosses.He has been going thru a bit of a dip in form.However in the last few weeks he seems to be regaining his confidence

Is he the same Dida that keeps for Brazil?
 
Dida's just had some confidence issues and injuries lately... a couple of seasons ago he was touted as being the second best keeper in the world behind Buffon (admittedly it was by the Italian media...) and more recently there were rumors of him moving to MU as backup to Van der Saar. And he did make a couple of excellent saves in the first leg match, so he's not such a bad keeper :P

edit: and he broke the record for most clean sheets in the champions league in 2005... although playing behind Maldini and Nesta would make any keeper look good

No way! We don't want him! Seriously. For the longest time he was Brazil's only weakness. There is nothing wrong with the backup keepers we have already.

2nd best in the world...please. :p

Newcastle United players are upset with plans of a summer tour.
The People says Newcastle's players will be flying to South Africa for a preseason campaign.

And that has infuriated several members of the squad.

Newcastle chairman Freddy Shepherd met with Roeder on Friday to map out the club's transfer targets.

But the club's pre-season programme is also being finalised and that will now include a gruelling tour of South Africa.

Club bosses see it as essential to expand the brand name of Newcastle United into areas where they are not yet well known.

dude how can u have a goal keeper in your team because he is a great shot stopper

i never saw him stop rooney's goal, his mistake was something they teach goalies at 10 years or younger

if you knew anything about football you would know there are tons of crosses and tons of corners, if you cannot stop those you should not be in a top flight team
