UK Work Visa

Well, I don't know if this will answer your question :)

SARS uses the following to determine if a person should be taxed as a SOUTH AFRICAN citizen...

Following requirements are necessary to be called a SA Citizen:
You had to be living in SA for

1. 91 days in the current year.
2. 91 days in the previous 5 years before the current year.
3. A total of 915 days in the previous 5 years before the current year.

Maybe if you adhere to these requirements your qualified to raising comments about SA, notwithstanding the extra experience and perspective the person actually gains by travelling and living around and comparing it to living in SA?

I hope I answered your question?
I think you may be confusing citizen with resident.

Well, I keep on being asked / challenged about it in every thread. So I respond.

That wasn't actually what I was challenging you about. It's not a question of whether or not you are entitled to comment when you're not in the country.

This question is, how can you criticize other people for leaving the country to get some experience when you're doing exactly that?

If that's your stance on this, then I am grateful. Thanks.

1) I am not criticizing anyone.
2) Those that I am adressing are not going overseas to gain experience and then come back. If they were, I'd back their decision 100% (since that is what I did as you rightly point out). Those that I address, leave and never come back.

You a fcking hypocrite you spend 90% of your time outside south africa. You say you coming back to cape town in a month, how long after that are you off again?

How does medical aid work when you overseas?

It doesn't. You either need to cancel it, and then sign up again when you come back, or you can keep paying but won't be covered if anything happens to you.

If you're out of the country for many years, you can run into problems with late joiner penalties when you come back and want to join a med aid.

Will keep the riff-raff South Africans, that just finished school and think they are on top of the world, out of Europe.
Pity this law wasn't in time to keep YOU out of Europe, since you fall into that category and think you are on top of the world and have the right to poke fun at us and our country and your belt-tightening diatribe!

And, I agree with most of the people here, Skinner has actually no right to comment about my country, when he isn't here for most of the time.

If other people are able to post more posts that are not about me, than posts that are about me, then so can you.

Otherwise it looks strange and that you have a personal problem with me. Which I then will report.

I'm pretty sure that you can take out special extra cover on your SA medical aid, if you are going to be overseas for an extended time period?

90%? Where did you get that from?

Anycase, after I'm back next month, I'm staying permanently in SA. I shall be a success.

Troll, troll troll away dear Skinner :) that's all you are good for, nothing else

??
If you believe so strongly in my "trolling", and it bothers you, then either:
1) report me
2) put me on your ignore list
