I'm running on that Asus G73 right now :)
Got it for R16.5K. Have to say...this thing is a bloody monster....
My specific specs are:

i7 920QM 1.66 - 2.66GHz, 4 Cores, 8 Threads (with Twin turbo support)
2 x 500GB 7200rpm Seagates (Next up: Putting in an Intel X25 SSD or maybe two Seagate Hybrids.)
8GB DDR3 RAM
ATI HD 5870 1GB DDR5
17.3" FullHD

Also got a G73, but paid more for mine. I have an 80gig X-25M in and it flies.
