Ultra Star Deluxe Microphone help

Hello,

I downloaded UltraStar Deluxe, it is a free karaoke software / game for the PC.

I have a laptop which has built in Microphone and that Andreas thing. I launched the game and it said it player 1 does not have a microphone allocated. I Launched the game in single player mode.

How do I set up my microphone for this, or will this game ONLY work if I get an external microphone?

Make sure that the microphone is enabled under "Recording devices", when you right-click the Volume icon in the system tray. Also make sure that it is set as the Default recording device.

It would be advisable to use an external microphone, because the integrated ones are usually terrible.
