Anyone from here going this Saturday?

Here is some info:

The event is being held over the weekend of December 13th and 14th 2008.
SATURDAY 13th from 9am to 7pm and SUNDAY 14th from 9am to 5pm.

UMICON will have everything from LAN gaming to anime screenings to art displays/competitions, swordfighting demonstrations,
stalls and general convention goodness. And YES, there will be food!
Proudly hosted by Hillcrest High School, C-Drive and Rythmic Beat.

Entrance R20 a day
LAN R30 a day

Hillcrest High is in Hillcrest. (duh?)

Directions: (from their website)

DIRECTIONS - FROM DURBAN:
- From the N3, take the alternate route onto the M13.
- From the M13, take the Winston Park / Hillcrest off-ramp (Exit 28)
and follow the R103 (Old Main Road) into central Hillcrest.
- In the centre of Hillcrest (near Checkers, Pick 'n Pay and First National Bank),
turn right into Inanda Road (M33).
- Go past the Hillcrest railway station (on the right), over the railway bridge,
and turn right into Ridge Road at the Inanda sports fields.
- Follow Ridge Road until you reach the entrances to the school on the right.


DIRECTIONS - FROM PIETERMARITZBURG:
- From the N3, take the alternate route onto the M13.
- From the M13, take the Assagay / Shongweni off-ramp and turn left at the
overpass into Kassier Road.
- Follow Kassier Road to the traffic lights on Old Main Road (R103).
- Turn right into Old Main Road and continue to the centre of Hillcrest.
- In the centre of Hillcrest (near Checkers, Pick 'n Pay and First National Bank),
turn left into Inanda Road (M33).
- Go past the Hillcrest railway station (on the right), over the railway bridge,
and turn right into Ridge Road at the Inanda sports fields.
- Follow Ridge Road until you reach the entrances to the school
on the right.
 
Looks like Otaku Mag will be there, perhaps i'll bribe 1 of them to give me a lift down to Dbn :D
