Unable Link MAC address on Telkom mobile /8ta on the Self Service portal. I am able to login and see I have 10 Gigs free wifi available. But unable to link secondary mac address to account.

It says only postpaid deals in FAQ can add a secondary device, But you should be able to connect to the wi-fi using your ipad via that EAP-SIM . it worked for me perfectly.

I've registered my MAC address on Telkom mobile's Self service portal. then i connect to wifi "Telkom Mobile connect" and asks me for username and password. I enter self service username and password but doesn't register and gives error "windows was unable to connect to Telkom Mobile connect".
any help here from the forum or Telkom would be brilliant - Thanks!

I have 30 GB per month of complimentary WiFi access with TM (from 4 X TM data contracts). I have had this bonus WiFi for the past 4.5 years, but have never used one Byte.
I will be doing some travelling soon, and need to get my MacBook Pro laptop ready. The TM help files are confusing as heck. They tell me where to find my MAC address, correct, and then tell me to "add your Mac address on My Telkom Mobile"
Bugger me....but there is nowhere on the Telkom Mobile site that allows me the option of adding a Mac address. I log into my account on TM, I can see all my balances, but nowhere, there is NO option to add a Mac Address ?????? I followed the following info from the TM website for adding a second device. Either they have changed their website, or removed the facility....but there is no option anywhere to add a Mac Address...
Once you have found the MAC address of your wireless adapter, do the following to link your secondary device:
Make sure the Wi-Fi MAC (Media Access Control) address of the secondary device is registered and/or added on the Wi-Fi portal
Please register and/or sign in on our Self Service portal on http://www.telkommobile.co.za/login
Add the Wireless adapter MAC address of a secondary device
Connect to the SSID: 1 Telkom Guest
You will then be authenticated and connected to the internet

Telkom Mobile allows you to use a secondary device e.g. a laptop or tablet to access the Wi-Fi service activated on your SIM card.
Please confirm what the error message is when linking secondary MAC address and when this happens when following the steps below:
Enter your MAC address
And Click submit
Only one MAC address of the secondary device must be linked to the Free Unlimited Wi-Fi qualifying cellphone number
