Unable to cancel sim

Hey guys, I am unable to cancel the sim on my Rain dashboard.

Ordered a sim just to try it out but their network is terrible.

When I click on "cancel sim" under the dashboard nothing happens. The page disappears when I click on yes. I sent a few emails to rain support without getting back any response.

Any advice? Is there live support? A number to call?

Only email support, they take few days to respond. There support is basically as good as telkom now.

Just switch off your data usage as well everything then email them to say that you don’t want it ... that’s about it ... where you from by the way ? Keep in mind there are many factors into getting this sim and getting the most out of it .... I can’t even sent this message with it so I’m using my Telkom data ... to help you we all in this together so here we help each other first and see if you can do whatever we can

Would I still have to pay for the rest of the month if I cancel it during the 7 days free? Rain sent an email saying R133 is due for the rest of the month. I would much rather use Telkom / Cellc than Rain. The max speed I get is 1mbps with Rain

Well ... if you used the free 7 day data then you own them nothing ... but if you used the sim there after even during peak hours then the total they gave you should be payed ... but call or try reaching them to see and find out ... and 1 megabyte is better than what I’m getting ... look at factors what router are you using ? And if your tower is 1800mhz or 2600mhz
