Same for vodacom. Probably don't wait specific towers attacked or some crap. Tried a tracers? Probably get the same result.Can anyone on cellc lte please check if you're able to run ping commands. For the last few days mine has just been timing out. Internet works (browsing/streaming/etc) I just can ping anything.

However, running ping commands to external IP addresses, such as Google's, falls outside our direct support scope unless the user can provide more details for us to better understand how we can best assist.
It seems the network connection is fine as they can browse and stream without any issues. We encourage the user to reach out to our Technical Support Team on 084 155 5555 if they feel we haven't fully addressed their query. This way we will be able to troubleshoot further to better understand and provide immediate assistance.

I doubt a Cell C rep knows what protocol ICMP is anyways. So I'd just say yes, they block itHaven’t fully addressed…you haven’t even made any attempt to try.
It would be quite simple to just confirm you’ve blocked ICMP.
