2x Nokia E7 phones stolen. I reported it to the police, and blacklisted my cellphone number and the IMEI numbers of the 2 cellphones with MTN (pre-paid). There was a tracking software on one of them, but the software reached the end of its life in 2014 for Symbian phones.

The phones have not been found, but I wish to unblacklist the cellphones (not the number). I know the chances of finding my cellphones are probably 0%, but there is a possibility of tracing unblocked phones.

Can I unblacklist my cellphones?

You wasting your time unfortunately.
If you do find them and know where they are what you going to do alone because SAPS in all likelihood won't assist.

Yes, sadly I know how incompetent the SAPs are. Just wanted to know if it's possible to unblacklist phones that have NOT yet been found?

The thieves usually change the IMEI numbers of the phone with a firmware flash, or send it to another country.

You are wasting your time.

Just wanna say: I called MTN. They don't blacklist prepaid cellphone numbers. One cellphone was blacklisted, but the other one was NOT blacklisted. Unblacklisting is possible, but I highly doubt MTN would unblacklist. It's quite a procedure. That's all I have to say.
