What movies do you watch that's 35GB each? If you want that kind of quality then bandwidth has some time to go before it will catch up with your requirements.Sorry what...? Soft capped on an uncapped package...? How in heavens name does that work... And 70GB is like 2 movies...? Seriously MWEB....
Congratulations, you just woke up to how MWEB operates. Get a new ISP!

I've seen one of the Lord of the Rings movies at 26GB... I once wanted to download all 3 movies at 77GB...
Why not just buy it? *puts on flame proof suit*
I got the bluray boxed set for R299...much less hassle than trying to download it etc etc etc. Looks good on the dvd shelf too![]()

This thread wasn't a good idea I'm afraid.
People are now jumping ship to "Cheaper options", unknowingly signing up for pathetic packages because "it's cheap".
We should be guiding the public, not confusing them by putting all these options together as if they're all equal.

Would you like 500GB/m bandwidth free as well, along with your free line speed update? What I have just found out is that Telkom is bumping up the line speeds, but are going to maintain the price structure, i.e. they will upgrade your line speed from 1mbps to 2mbps; 2mbps to 4mbps, but will continue to sync you at the old speed until you are prepared to pay them the extra for increased sync rate. That means in effect that though you could possibly get a doubling of your speed it will require you to pay them the extra for a faster sync rate. So you get no advantage, unless of course you take your whole service over to them, which means they are trying to squeeze the other ISPs out of the market. Their intention was never to provide higher speeds, but rather to rip off the internet users and give them the idea that they will be getting better service. No go unless you pay the extra sync speed rate.
