Is there anyone out there that can please help me find a truly uncapped ADSL option.

OpenWeb - no thresholds but P2P is slowed during office hours.
NOTE -> Links to router packages with 12 month contracts, not the express ;)

Its an exercise in frustration.
Cheapest true uncappped option?
No P2P is fine.
IS has thresholds now So there will never be true uncapped options? :(

Yes, sad but true. Those "free flowing data days" seems to be over unless you have a business Uncapped IS Account incl. the Cisco goodies supplied.

Thanks Impregim.
Just emailed ODS for a business account, and requested to tailor make an account with 2 concurrent logins.
Lets see if they flexible to our needs :)

The business account stays uncapped, they will tailor an account with 2 concurrent logins, but only express/rolling window accounts:(

I've given up on uncapped for the time being. Too much shaping, throttling and restricted access. Not to mention IS's high international latency, and poorly performing satellite based bandwidth.

From R780pm (R490 + R145 x 2) you can get a 10gb SAIX account and two 2/28 IS accounts (2 x R145). This effectviely gives you 70gb full speed access, of which up to 18gb is international.

To optimise this setup you can use a Routesentry type solution for splitting international and local traffic. You should also schedule sufficent international downloads for when you initiate the IS accounts since local access on IS accounts also count towards the international caps.

So, okay, you are not going to download 100Gb+ each month, but it is not going to cost you R2 500+ each month either, nor will your access speeds be throttled, nor will your accounts be shaped to death.

in south africa we don't have a true uncapped option period.
