Hi There.

I have a 100MB bundle with my contract with Vodacom via Nashua Mobile. On the 7th June between 10 and 12 in the morning my phone suddenly used over 500MB of data costing R800 plus. I have taken this up with both Nashua Mobile and Vodacom wanting some form of explanation. I don't use my phone for anything but checking email. All they come back to with is that the data was used but they can't tell me where it came from or even in which direction it was. After 18+ years with Vodacom you would think that someone would at least have the courtesy to contact me look at my normal usage and try and get to the bottom of it. Nothing. I find this disgusting service and I will be moving unless I get some satisfaction.

Regards
Peter

If you are with Nashua Mobile then you will have to fight it out with them. VodacomData can't view anything on your account.

PS. I have myself seen an issue where a phone got into a loop downloading mail and ran way over its normal usage, so it can happen. Unfortunately the OOB costs are never easy to swallow.

Another OOB victim, hope it gets sorted. BTW what phone is it?

Apps? Most apps will download new info at 12 at night.
What phone are using?
What apps do you have?
