Good morning.
At the beginning of the month, on the 1st of December to be exact, my Rain Sim card was stolen together with the router that it was in. I immediately sent an email to Rain to block the sim and ask for a sim swap. My sim was ready for delivery a few days later but I could only get it after a week and a half because that's when I was home. Now I receive the sim but it was not active. I go back and forth emailing your people to activate my sim card but after a few days of nagging them, they were not replying to me anymore. That's very frustrating considering the high prices of data I was paying for during that period. The month has gone and without getting clarity from your people since they are not responding to my emails, I decided to cancel my rain service and look elsewhere. I decided to go to my rain dashboard and I find out that the stolen sim card is active in someone's phone, connected to a base station in Durbanville. I check the usage and I see that it has been active for the past 4 days. I try to cancel the sim but you guys did not respond to that email again when I was requesting for that sim to be blocked because its not in my position. I try to cancel it on the dashboard and they tell me that that can only happen at the end of the month.
I try to find every option to cancel my sim or to activate this one delivered to me. I check that it says that my sim is not yet delivered. On the 22nd of December only do I get someone who activates the new sim card. Only from the 22nd do I start using my Rain sim card again.

This picture captures the information of the person who was using my sim card, the sim card that was stolen and the one I kindly asked to be blocked at the beginning of December.

Only after this was my sim activated and that’s when I started to use Rain.
Today I am trying to pay for the services I have used from the 22nd till now and I find a bill of R355. How do you justify such a bill over 9 days of being active. From the 1st to the 21st of December, I did not even use a single kb of rain data. Someone used my stolen sim card for about 5-6 days before that and this is all your fault because I had reported to you that it was stolen and I needed a sim swap. You delivered the sim but was inactive for a whole 2 weeks. Now please bill me fairly for the 9 days that I have used cos R355 for 9 days is a total rip off. Please explain how you got to this value cos until then I’m not paying a cent of this.
Below are some of the emails I sent trying to get my sim activated
