Unifi AC AP Long Range POE Issues

Hi Guys

I am hoping you guys can help.

I have a Hikvision POE switch (unmanaged) and a UAP-AC-LR access point. The poe functionality was working fine for a year but now the access point does not power on. The only way I can get it to power on is if I use the POE injector that can with the access point. I did not change any settings on the switch or accesss point. Both the switch and access point are 802.af compliant.

1.Might be the poe budget for the switch so you added some other items using power? Unplug other stuff if so
2. Tried a different port or shorter cable?
3. The af safety functionality on the switch or AP has died. The injector doesnt do any fancy checks it just sends power, and if thats the case maybe just keep using the injector
