Quite obvious actually! Why consult with a former manager? He's gone!
 
I reckon that the CWU was simply guarranteed that the decision of the previous HR person to not retrench staff for a year would not be reversed ... no wonder then that they are so buddy-buddy now.

Management don't have time to deal with a labour dispute at THIS (it will come eventually) time.
 
Some good news. :-) These execs are the ones that have been justifying retrenchments and Telkom pricing structures (Just checkout the carte blanche special on Hellkom to see what I mean).
What about all the little guys who were retrenched by Telkom that couldn't afford to get legal to keep their jobs? Did these execs care anything about them? Noo! Just the money coming into their pockets at the sake of these retrenched workers. As far as I'm concerned there have been no benefits of these retrenchments either. Telkom's service has degraded incredible since that move - EVEN though the R6.8 billion profit was an increase over last year (yeah, now you don't have to pay the okes you fired).
