Unisa and hellopeter...... Anyone interested in starting a trend with Unisa's name on hellopeter with regards to their non existent call centre?

I have had it up to here with them and their crap email and sms service, took me over a month to get academic records sent to me (by the way I received someone else records), yet all I wanted was an email with my records attached.

Can't we piss them off so much on hellopeter that they bring back the call centre?
 
There are plenty of complaints, including mine. Add yours too!

I wouldn't mind their SMS/email service if you can get a same-day response, but this is BS. The reason why the call centre worked (even though you had to hold forever) was because you could speak to someone the same day!

Try having your study units cancelled even though you've paid in full, and having them reverse it, without a call centre :mad:
 
I haven't noticed anything good from complaining about them on HelloPeter. You get a response, sure, but that's about as far as it goes - may as well be a copy/paste response.

I've long since given up on Unisa showing any care or consideration for their students - I'm just trying to make it through and hoping the degree is worth more than the paper it's printed on when I finally get it.
 
I must confess that their current arrangement with closing the callcentre is disastrous.
Their emails take 2 weeks to get an answer and even then it is the wrong answer.

To complain about this though is futile...work around it and get hold of the regional offices in your region.

i have written to them numerous times in the last few months but never got a reply.. its starting to really piss me off
 
I got a reply after six weeks. It was a copy/paste response and totally irrelevant!

I queried the progress of my application and received confirmation via a contact and then received an automated reply asking me to please be patient 2 months later. :D

Personally, I suspect they are hoping the students will just go away.
 
They have to bring back that call center! My exam venue was put as the wrong location and I sent a email weeks ago but still no reply!! Its like they have taken out money and disappeared (Even though its only 4k). And the online system is down more than it is up!

Ditto...freaking ekonomie... luckily I pulled everything I needed for today a week back already. Printed out my admission letter yesterday as well. Shoe shoe, close one!

What, you mean their standard response to every complaint? :D

It's beyond my comprehension. 3 weeks to answer one simple query is unacceptable. It only serves to reveal that they're in it for the moola. Pity we don't have an alternative.
 
add me too.... I sent unisa a letter two months ago and still no response.... I'm thinking it might be better to go lay the smack down at my,nearest campus......at least, if I mk all my subjects this year, ill have 2 left and then I'm done with unisa forever..... Eish!!!!!!
