All good advice one problem though, there is not suppose to be load shedding today? So we were working and then bam, the power off and smoke. The Electric Department don't even know there is an issue, nothing shown on their systems. So now we have been sitting for 4 hours with no power.

Snap loadshedding?

Any essential services in your area? Hospitals mines,smelters ect.

Do Feel for you, maybe its time to think about old school iceblocks to keep food cold?
Even I'd the compressor busted, I'm sure it will work.
