Unknow data upload

Wondering if anyone has this problem with using the Cell C speed stick (dongle):

Its seems like about once or twice a month I have this massive up load of data from my system, the only program running is the Cell C dashboard. I've called cell c and they don't seem to understand what I'm talking about

16 May 2012 - Upload 2.26GB
16 July 2012 - Upload 2.54GB
26 July 2012 - Upload 1.80GB
7 August 2012 - Upload 3.06GB

These uploads are extremely fast around 7.62(MB/s) and only last for 5 to 10 min.

Well, I have had mine for 11 months and it has been consistently around 7-8gb a month. On 17th July, when I was not at home, 5.5gb disappeared in one morning. Then, on 1st August at 03h14, 7.2gb was used in about an hour.

My device works through a router and wireless is disabled. Having had indifferent response from CellC in the past, I did not call them since they do not seem to comprehend the problem

After the post referred to appeared in mybb, I disabled the wireless on the router

Its not using my data from Cell C its just using the data upload - the upload data doesn't affect my balance. I'm just worried that its sending data from my personal files on my computer to somewhere.
