Unlimited mobile price plans compared

Telkom Mobile is killing the other service providers with their data offerings.

I'm actually surprised they want to hand over their whole network to MTN.
 
Ingsoc's Ministry of Truth would have been so proud of these unlimited contracts.

And yet Vodacom has never ever rewarded loyal customers.

Even customers who have been with them since 1994.

I have been with Telkom Mobile since 2012 and already got my 10GB+10GB contract reduced from R299 to R199.

The poepol in charge of Telkom wants to hand over the whole Telkom Mobile network to MTN to operate.

He doesn't realise they have the best network, or maybe his buddies at MTN asked for a bailout.

Only AT&T seem to.

T-Mobile is fantastic, the $70-$80 a month is a lot but you get unlimited LTE data. Never have a days issue with them, and then I use around 20-30GB on my phone in the month I'm there. Much better than expensive hotel wifi.

Cannot agree more. Been with Vodacom since the beginning with 4 numbers to my monthly account. Never missed a payment.
All I can say is their "Smart" plans do not provide what I need and never have which is calls. Once your calls are up for the month you cannot top-up so you end up paying an arm and a leg. By the middle of the month I use my Telkom phone to call people as it is cheaper.

It does seem queer that Telkom now that they are offering better products want to sell their mobile network, but then it is Telkom who have always done strange things historically speaking with poor investment decision, yet when they come with products that could potentially take the market by storm they want to sell? :confused:
