Unlimited SMS options

So I've got a couple of sensors that send me sms's on a regular basis, however I can't seem to find a reasonable contract or bundle that has a unlimited SMS. I recall some time ago that virgin mobile had unlimited SMS but can't seem to find them anywhere.

I'm currently using a telkom sim and paying ~0.29c per sms. The devices send between 20 and 30 sms per day, depending on the input
So its costing me around R150/month per device.

Is there any cheaper sms options available?
Or an unlimited option for sms?
Or an sms only sim? Machine to Machine option?
I don't have a problem changing networks..

Any advice would be appreciated.

Just out of curiosity, are the sensors within or could be within wifi range? Also what are the sensors doing?

Unfortunately not, these sensors are remote RTU devices. They monitor temperature at offsite locations

Consider IoT sensors. Not sure on the pricing as, like so many SA sites, are POR.
