unotelly 'like' DNS services

I used to be a Unotelly subscriber, untill I had enough of their endless netflix issues. So I tried Getflix, couldn't be more happy with their service, they also offer VPN services linked to smartDNS accounts should you be interested:)

Sp you watching US Netflix atm with Getflix? Do they work the same as borderless etc. giving you DNS servers to use?

I'm using Playmo.tv at the moment, zero Netflix issues.

Ok so this is my issue. I am also using playmo.tv atm. We watch on our smart TV. I config the router with the DNS IP's but can only play local Netflix shows even though I am logged in to the US Netflix (know that for sure). On the same network I can watch any show on my notebook..?

How are you streaming to your TV?

Did you update your location on their website, then try a restart?

Send their support an e-mail. I found them very helpful.

I did it all...rebooted everything 10 times. Linked to their website. I even changed the regional of my TV. Nothing works...its so frustrating and have the fam on my back about it. Streaming to my TV via cable from the router. Even configured the TV IP settings with their DNS servers.

Which TV?

I also have a Samsung, but I'm streaming via my Roku, as I cant get Netflix loaded on my TV. Did you change the country code on the TV?

There is a secret menu short cut with the remote, then you get access to change the region code on the TV itself.

https://support.unlocator.com/custo...75-how-to-change-region-on-a-samsung-smart-tv

A smart TV will have different apps available depending on what market it is sold in. TVS sold outside North America are often unable to switch region to the USA. Some apps are locked down to serial numbers of the TV model and as this limitation is based on hardware it can’t be unlocked.

That said - changing the region to one of the following should provide access to the most popular apps on most TVS: USA, Mexico, Brazil, Canada, UK, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
Press the Smart Hub button on the remote control
When Smart Hub has loaded then press », 2, 8, 9, « (fast forward, 2, 8, 9, rewind). Please not that new F-series Samsung TVS have a different way of changing app store. Please take a look at our other tutorial here. If you have a H-series check this tutorial.
Under Internet service location select the country you wish to use. Selecting either USA, Mexico, Brazil, Canada, UK, Finland, Norway, Sweden or Denmark will give you access to the most popular apps. You can only have apps from one region installed at any given time. In other words you can’t have American and British apps installed at the same time.
Once you have selected to the country you wish to use press Next
Agree to Terms
Update of Smart Hub will start
Default apps for the region will be installed and old apps deleted
Once Smart Hub has rebooted your can install apps from the new region as you please

Yes, but I have my DNS settings configured on my router, not a device like a TV or something. Have also blocked access to both Google DNS's. Was watching Netflix US last night at 720p no issues:)

Thanks so much guys! It works with getflix. I didn't block google dns, will do so tonight...just create a bogus route for them?
