Hi There,

Do you peeps know of any dns services out there, where i can set what region i want to use for each and every service.

Like for netflix i want to use local, but hulu i want to use US.

My issue right now, is i have my dns set to us, so hulu works fine, but netflix does not. If i set it to local, then netflix works fine, but hulu. It would be nice if i could set my location for each service.

My setup and requirements:

Apple TV, connected to router via WiFi. I have numerous other devices connected to wifi.
All devices on trouter should not make use of a dns service, only the apple tv.
I can enter dns settings on the Apple TV.

I want:
Netflix local
Hulu US
Showmax Local.

this means i need one dns provider that i can enter on the apple tv, and it should allow me to chose location for netflix, and a location for hulu. Showmax does not care atm

Try Playmo.tv, but you will only get local Netflix.

Getflix or Borderless

What router do you have? If you have a RouterOS or an Open-WRT derivative then you might have to configure it.

US regions should be working again now, all other blocked regions have been removed for now while we work on a longer term solution.

Where did you get the above info from?

Having everything going through the DNS shouldn't effect your other devices - especially if you use their local DNS server(s).

So Borderless is up again for US netflix?

Wish I could subscribe to Hulu with an SA CC card. Seems they don't care about blocking smart dns like Netflix does

You can subscribe to Hulu with a South African Credit Card all you do is change your Zip Code to USA one and it should work. I have Hulu only and like it better than Netflix and Showmax.

Doesn't work anymore - they've figured that out :(

Smartdnsproxy works quite well. But Hulu and Netflix are categorised under one item. But it works. UnoTelly is dead in the water at the moment.

Slightly off this particular topic. Can anyone recommend a decent VPN, ideally anonymous and that supports streaming?

I used to be a Unotelly subscriber, untill I had enough of their endless netflix issues. So I tried Getflix, couldn't be more happy with their service, they also offer VPN services linked to smartDNS accounts should you be interested:)
