I just want to know is unshaped account worth it??
will I be able to play my games overseas if i do get unshaped??
games like dota and bf2142??

Plz if u know of any games u can play with a shaped dsl account overseas post it here thx.

Short Answer = Yes.

Games you can play with shaped 384 adsl: GuildWars, WoW (might possibly be stretched a bit), Anarchy Online, Vanguard, Eve
Games better suited for unshaped would be BF2, 2142, basically your FPS's.

Careful now, cos IS unshaped is not as good as SAIX unshaped.

If we actually had any rights you could insist on a minimum latency, but .. nooooo ... your purchase of unshaped is a 50% pot luck.

i hope you know that BF2 & BF2142 are very hungry on data transfer ... full on BF2 weekend can set you back 1gig of data
thuss going unshaped is pricey .....

typical BF2 latency to Canada:
shaped: 400-500ms
unshaped: 180-250ms - playable

well i don't know about you put with my little 384 kbs im able to play 2142 well with some area's where it lags just a bit, and that shaped
