Unstable wifi (mweb)

Been having very unstable wifi for the past 3 months or so. Ping spikes like crazy in game (goes to like 1000 ms for 10 seconds), download speeds plumet every minute or so. Called my ISP and they said I should buy a new router (since the 1 I was using was sht). Did that today and wifi is still very unstable (across all devices). Especially apparent in a game

Time to jump ship, gotten a lot of calls of late regarding Mweb. Something is up there, doesn't sound good

so I should just switch IPS then? Which ISP would you reccomend? Also couldn't this be a problem with octotel rather than mweb?

Wont go wrong with CISP think i have 38 clients with them now and no issues ever

Not sure what you mean by unstable WIFI or unstable internet (assuming that ur tryna ask whether the internet is not unstable when using ethernet, however I've never tried before) Can't use LAN cause on a laptop + router is quite far away from my room

These two things are entirely separate and there’s a good chance with a single router in a larger house you have a local problem nothing to do with the ISP.

It’s not your ISP. It’s your local network.
