Hi All,

ok gave up on smoothwall,

need some help with untangle though :\

It is up and running, have the other network card in, have the lite package etc

all works from the looks of things just a few questions

how can i see how much bandwidth has been used by an ip address? and for example a list of the activity that used that bandwidth?

Also can i block by keywords? i can only seem to get it right on full site address

I dont think the lite version supports blocking on keywords.

On the Reports page click on applications and select Web filter/Lite on the left hand side of the screen. If you scroll down on the right, you should see a list Top IP's/users by size

Dont know about keywords...

You seem to be chopping and changing firewalls here to find a solution. The best place for any firewall support is always their forums unless you have a SA specific query - ISP problems etc.

I'm a IPCop guy and your first post could have been solved with IPCop 1.4.21 and the TCAR add-on but you obviously had a good reason for going with Smoothwall (probably a feature IPCop doesn't support). Unfortunately IPCop comes with it's own problems - v2.0 now supports most hardware but lacks the range of add-ons that make v1.4.21 so useful.
