Upcoming Games

Suppose it can but im not sure that for example realistic movement would have added anything to the experience. Also keep in mind Zelda has alot of history, some of the "feel" of movement or riding the horse for example can be deliberate as to remind you of games gone past. Like riding Epona in Ocarina of time. The developers are extremely good at this. Play any modern Mario game for example and muscle memory alone will make you feel like you're playing on your NES or SNES, that feeling is no accident it was build to feel that way.

Breaking pots in Zelda has to feel like it always has... Remember? and it will

Again, I didn't say 'realistic' - why are you so stuck on this? I said modernised.

Sorry bud, like in what way please give an example.

Like any game that came out recently that also uses a clearly stylised art direction, but modernised the physics, fighting tech. etc. Hell, even indies like Child of Light do it well. Not to mention some MOBA's like Heroes of the Storm. You can have art/narrative driven games without sacrificing modern gaming development tech.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is official

Red Dead Redemption 2 will include a “new online multiplayer experience” when it hits next fall, Rockstar Games announced this morning. A trailer for the game goes live Oct. 20.

“Red Dead Redemption 2 will release worldwide in Fall 2017 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One systems,” according to a news post on Rockstar Games’ website. “An epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland, the game’s vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience.”

The game will be developed by the creators of Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption, according to the press release.

11am EST is about 5pm our side.

Wonder the odds of it having multiple characters like GTA 5.

Why are those the only options you can imagine? There's also no gameplay innovation in there that I can see.

There's a great deal of gameplay innovation, actually; it's totally different from any prior Zelda game in just about every way. It's Nintendo's take on open-world Skyrim style RPGs with a lot of the unnecessary crud stripped out and some really impressive additions. The physics engine means that you can solve puzzles flexibly and organically by interacting with the environment. The inventory system looks brilliant - open ended but accessible.

There's a pretty good video of it here that shows some of the ways you can interact with the environment. I dunno, haven't seen too many open world games that actually give you that much scope for experimentation and puzzle solving:

Also bear in mind that it's running on the Wii U which means the graphics are way behind what it could do on a PS4/Xbone - will see what the new (Nintendo NX) console specs are when they announce it later today, but hopefully they'll be able to crank up the textures significantly. We'll see how it pans out but to me it looks like something I'd buy a console to play.

More of a tease than teenage girls.

Enviroment looks great

Worth it to play it now if you've got one.
Nope I just have a PC. There's always like one game the makes me wish I had a console. Right now it's The Last Guardian on PS4 and Breath of the Wild (although I'm seriously considering buying a Nintendo Switch when it releases because it looks fantastic).

There are so many games that I still want to play on PS4. God of War, Uncharted, The Last of Us, Heavy Rain, Bloodborne etc.

But yeah, I really hope they release it on PC. My preferred platform, too.

For those that don't know:
