update form iOS4 to 5

Hi All,

so is it possible to download iOS update one one pc without itunes and then take it i on a flash drive and update on your PC with itunes? also where to get the download then?

so i just download then when i get to the PC i want to update on all i do is hold shift and click update and it will let me select the file to update with?

Correct. Then browse to the downloaded file and away you go...
