Upgrade now!

I'm not sure if it's just me, and if I dont understand the new pricing. But when I received my statement I had the following Items:
Your Telephone Line - R98.16
DSL Up to 512kbps - R285.96
TI-AllAcess Advanced 3 GB - R209.65
Total is R593.77

NOt being a person reading flyers and ****, I didn't bother... but then telkom suspended my line for reasons unexplainable... and while holding for 7min, I decide to to read the flyer and my eye catches the pricing of the 4mbps + 3GB for R554... Now that is R40 cheaper than my 512 line...

I asked them and the upgraded it for free. No hassle... The Catch? You HAVE to ask for it! So I would suggest you guys (and gals) phone them and ask for that upgrade.

4mbps + 3GB for R554... Now that is R40 cheaper than my 512 line...

Is that for: (Analog Line + ADSL + ISP) ???

You forgot the 105 bucks for line rental... so you are actually paying R66 more..

R115 line rental is it not? The price he quoted there sounds like a Do3 price which excludes line rental.

Those prices on his Telkom statement are less VAT though, the Do3 deal is still worth it in any case.

Don't forget to ask for your free modem when upgrading to do3! Still got the new modem stuck in my drawer in case I have to take it back ;-) Or they charge me for it!

Sounded to good to be true, so that's an extra R100 on top of that R554 package.

EHV is correct. If those numbers are excluding VAT going with do3 is still the better option.

This won't help you if you don't use Telkom as an ISP...

But yeah. It's really worth it to upgrade from 512Kbps to 4Mbps regardless. The price difference is small, and the speed gain is huge.

Well your ISP most likely has a complete package by now, probably with better prices than Telkom's anyway.
