Yeah I think I am gonna stick with ddr800, I was just curious as to the price difference. eitai2001 what sort of deal would you be able to get me on a Zalman Cooler for LGA775? Do you sell Zalman coolers?

Yeah I do ... I just haven't really put them on the site except for I think 1 ... Do you have a particular model in mind? Can do the Zalman 7700 for R319 ... but see if you have one in particular ... will reply later.

Zalman CNPS9700 NT CPU Cooler is the one I am looking at (preferably with a blue LED - modded case :P )

Can you get your fingers on such a thing?

Hi. I can get the CNPS9700LED which has the blue LED for you at R559 ... The CNPS9700NT has a green LED and is R599.

The arctic cooling freezer 7 pro works better than the Zalman cooler and it's half the price

Prophecy sells the ACF7Pro for R597.29 !! Where do you see it for half the price?

That's crazy! It's selling for ÂŁ14 over here and the Zalman is ÂŁ30. Thought it would be roughly the same.

Ya, so I really think pepl in the UK and thereabouts shouldn't complain too much! :P
Cos we get it uppa the bumm!! :D ;)

Okay so does anyone with some mad overclocking skizzles know what fan would be best for me?

I want to overclock my Core Duo E6300. Alot.

Like, 3.0Ghz per core alot.

I'm sketchy on watercooling, I don't trust it and would have no idea how to install it.

What I want to do is get a good fan and see what my CPU temp is and based on that I will decide whether water cooling is the right way to go.

If anyone has any arguments for or against watercooling, let me hear them :P

Actually, I would also like to hear peoples thoughts on this ... I'm also slightly sketchy on water cooling. I've heard you get leaks ... but I think these days you get water coolers that ae pre-setup and its a simple matter of installing the heat sink on the CPU, feed the tubes through the case, putting coolant in the system and plugging the tubes into the little radiator block. But I've never personally installed one.

I'd also like to know if it is safe to have watercooling when you move your PC around, like when taking it to a LAN or something?

I've seen those thermaltake cases where the radiator is actually built into the front of the case ... so that would be easily transportable to lans ... not a cheap option though.

Yeah, the case I currently own has a section to which one is able to attach either a 120mm fan or a radiator for water cooling. Right now I have a fan tacked on there but I can easily swap it out if I do go the watercooling route...

Going back to motherboards, I am intruiged by the Asus P5K3 Premium

It's the board that has 2gb built in DDR3 RAM. Does anyone know of any suppliers in SA and how much they would charge me for this beast?
