Upgrading to SSD & windows

Hi there,

I decided to try bring new life to my 2011 Samsung laptop by swapping the hard drive with a new ssd. But I am having a problem with windows. I don't have the Samsung recovery disk or windows disk that it came with. I tried to download the ISO for windows 7 home prem that it came with from the Microsoft website but it said its an OEM version so I must contact Samsung?

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get windows on the new SSD instead of buying a new retail (expensive) version??

Great thanks guys, any recommendations regarding the software to use to clone it? Also, would I need to get an enclosure to connect the ssd via USB?

Sorry if it's a noob question haha.
