UPS plugged into Inverter?

RIght so i did a test now, removed the external UPS from the equation, and started up a game which uses more resources, and playing music, switched the mains off and the inverter kicked in fast enough to keep the pc on. So, for now ill just remove the external ups from the equation.. Seems like the inverters internal UPS system is good enough, for my pcs PSU anyway 
Possibly the external UPS is just getting faulty, it is over 2 years old anyway..
