Tell me about it... I'm sitting here trying to find affordable ways to generate power... I stupidly bought another rct 2000vas ups today, and I'm thinking of returning it and just bite the bullet and go all out 5.5kva gennie, or a moerse inverter /battery bank sollution...

I read that solar power is only available during the day... or is that if you don't charge batteries with it... and just use it as is...

well it works with the Sun....
but yes, the panels will charge the batteries. You will need a lot of batteries though. Check here: https://powerforum.co.za/
