Any recommendations for UPS Monitoring Software for RCT UPS 2000VA for iOS version 11.3.1? Main reason is to switch off the beeping noise once battery is running flat. Don't want to remove the speaker. Also - how to improve battery life... ups is 1 year old and already only lasting for 1.5 hours with only fibre modem en router connected to it.

The only way to improve the battery life is to replace the battery.

However, you are using the wrong device for the job.

A UPS is designed to run a heavy load like a PC for a few minutes until you shut it down or your generator kicks in.
It is not designed to run a light load for hours at a time.

What you want is a DC UPS or Mini UPS like the one discussed in this thread:

1) Deep Cycle batteries
2) Try and get a 2500/3000 VA system

Always good to get something, in this case, that is a bit bigger than what you actually need

I put 2 x 9ah blue nova LiFEPo batteries (note, there is something on the batteries that should match, a batch nr or something) into my Eaton 1500VA UPS last year after the originals could not do normal loadshedding period anymore more for my ONT and router. No problems so far, even with outages of 4 hours.

Run NUT on a host (I run in on an old Raspberry Pi) then load the NUT url in browser. There are commands available to toggle or mute the beeper. There is a Windows version too.

As for the battery question, lead acid batteries (the usual 12v 7/9Ah betteries that come in UPSes) do not like to be deeply discharged. Lead acids should not be discharged beyond 50% DoD (depth of discharge) as it shortens their lifespan. That means your UPS should be able to hold 4-5 hours to comfortably power your kit through a 2 hour load shedding window. Do not let the battery voltage drop below 11.75v (30% DoD for a 12v battery). If you get to this stage, rather shut your UPS down or you will wreck the batteries (I did thanks to long municipal blackouts).

I hacked my small UPS and connected a 2nd 12v 9Ah battery in parallel, for more capacity.
