Urgently looking for an LG BE06LU10 (external blu-ray writer). Anybody know of anyone that has stock in Gauteng at a reasonable price?
 
Thanks Ryansta, I worked through those yesterday - the ones that are open don't keep stock, and their suppliers don't have either... I was hoping for some hole-in-the-wall place that had something.
 
Tried prophecy.co.za? Not sure any1's open yet, prophecy say they have stock but ya not sure they open... Why's it so urgent if i may ask? Dam all the places i know are close or on that list sorry man
 
I saw prophecy's offer, but on this item that are unfortunately priced on the high side compared to some others.

I have some (actually, a few hundred GB) HD footage that I need to get onto disc and shipped to Ireland. The cost of the exercise is actually making me have second thoughts - I think I'd rather just dump the MTS files onto a HDD and ship that across. The rest can be done on the other side, as they have all the nescessary gear available there.
 
If you know someone with a Frontosa account, I think they have them... received an e-mail before Christmas and recall seeing the LG int and ext drives - I seem to remember that it was about R2395 + VAT

just do a search for "frontosa myadsl" on google, you'll find someone mentioned it the other day

Just checked the December pricelist and my e-mail - the internal was this one for R2345 + VAT:

The other one is the external for R2899 + VAT -- cheaper to get the internal and fit it to an external case...
