What are you on about? There's not a man on that list that didn't go to university. Ive went to Northumbria University (then called Newcastle Polytechnic), though it isn't mentioned in the article.

Clearly going to University doesn't, in your case, equip you with the ability to spell or use the English language properly.
Ingenuity and education are not mutually exclusive. Some of the brightest people in the world never set foot inside a university.

University educations these days, particularly common degrees like B.Comm, M.B.A., C.A. and various others, prove nothing about a person's intellect other than that they know how to retain and regurgitate pre-defined information on command. Parrots can do that too. The biggest waste of my time was spent in pursuit of a B.Comm.
Apple, in its wisdom, should not be looking purely at the academic exploits of its future leaders. It should be looking at the ability to "see" into the future. That is not something that can be taught, which harkens back to my original reply to this story.
