Hi Guys

I want to get a transactional account based in US$.
The primary use will be for:

1. Online purchases
2. Swipes when I go to the US
3. Deposits from income earned

Any products available to South African citizens that meet the requirements?

I have the Global account with FNB, however it doesn't come with a card for transacting.

I use revolut ,the physical card gets send to you from the UK. I received the card in 3 weeks after ordering it ,its free.

Not sure if you can deposit money directly to it ,you can fund the account with your your CC.

Interesting, I looked them up. They say though that they do not accept cc only dc? If they do accept cc that would be an awesome way of meeting the Ebucks criteria of R1000 online spend - as you still have the money

How did you sign up?

I get "Revolut is not in your country yet..."

Have you looked at NETeller? You can get a virtual or physical card from them - the account can be in any currency and it's easy to deposit into using a south african credit card or bank transfer
