US calls upon Crowdstrike CEO to testify before Congress

maybe so, but a congressional hearing isnt exactly a place shareholders in the company want to see their CEO,
I expect resignations/firings and maybe some shake ups to happen.
I expect some funny videos to come from this.

Can just imagine the silly questions being asked right now, like the one I shared in #14

And the US congress will understand how software like this operates on the OS level?

Last time I checked they were embarrassingly arrogant with anything related to the tech industry.
Congress can't even distinfguish between AI & a robot. Sound like a bunch of dum dums.

still, when facebook/meta's zukaberg appeared in front of them,
it didnt exactly make the shareholders gidddy with joy,

in actual fact for them to appear before congress means somethings gone horribly wrong and somebody needs to give solid answers.

Lets hear your recommendations for "good" software.

Not sure why my recommendations are needed but sure.

Internet download manager - Works lekker to download stuff on the internet.
Windows 11, even if it irks me the wrong way, it is the main OS everyone use.
Any new office packet from MS. Helps if you can work on Excel and Word.
Steam if you are playing games. Maybe even GOG Galaxy for their games too.
Klite so you can watch and hear all different audio/video.
Big fan of Opera GX.

Then not sure of everyone elses needs, AnyDVD and Unifi.
Been more than a week, not sure what the point of the question was.

It's embarrassing when your own shareholders sue company management:
The lawsuit accuses the company of making "false and misleading" statements about its software testing.

It also says the company's share price dropped 32% in the 12 days after the incident, causing a loss in market value of $25bn (£14.5bn).
