US Election 2020 - Lame duck days

That's 1/1, also has it on the ticket. 2/1 gives you R100 profit from a R50 bet.

It depends on how bookmakers use decimal odds. Some use the starting point as 1 rather than 0 to make it a little bit easier to understand odds...but yeah, in the case of Sky, you are correct.

I think some people have an aversion of see 0.5 rather than 1.5 even if it's actually the same odds. 0.5 sounds like you might even lose money even if you win.

He understands people are hurting from the covid-19 pandemic and associated lockdowns...the people need some financial relief!

1. The rest of them definitely understand people are hurting from the lockdowns, they don't give a ****.
2. You correctly point out that it's a single Republican Senator who gives a ****, but carry on with your FOX news standpoint that it's the Democrats who don't care about the working class.

Curious.

come back to argue with me after 8th Dec.

Well, I don't really want to argue, but I am moved to follow up.

Safe harbor law locks Congress into accepting Biden’s win

Happy Safe Harbor Day, America.

Other than Wisconsin, every state appears to have met a deadline in federal law that essentially means Congress has to accept the electoral votes that will be cast next week and sent to the Capitol for counting on Jan. 6. Those votes will elect Joe Biden as the country’s next president.

I hope the goalposts are not too heavy at this time of year.

may be after tomorrow.

We’ll be talking faithless electors any minute now.

‘Cos, you know, recounts were never *really* the plan; suing to stop certification was never *really* the plan, and even after States were certified, suing to have them decertified was never *really* the plan... nope, even suing to delay past safe harbor was never *really* the plan.

The plan was always faithless electors.

Well, it was always the plan ‘till it never *really* was the plan.

Waiting on ‘impeachment was always the plan’ in January to open the celebratory 15yo Glenfiddich.

Woman says people are being are being denied their votes, keeps lodging (and losing) lawsuits trying to do just that to the people on the other team. Boggles the mind a bit.

Basham: It’s impossible for a Dem candidate to win with less than 90% of the African American vote

Has he considered higher voter turnout? That's if indeed it was impossible in the past.

Why does she always sound like she is about the burst into tears?

They have been counted...
LOL, I thought is was just me, maybe she is appealing to emotion because she sure doesn't appeal to the facts.

It's probably Mitch who got them to drop the idea in the first place, who he's expressed much admiration for. So only likes republicans, no matter which way they go
