So yeah, while I have little patience for out and out racism which the right does sometimes exhibit, I have absolutely no patience for the desire to shut down debate, like progressives exhibit.

History has shown that right wing conservative governments have enacted censorship and controlled the media directly, as well. That is something that has been done by many types of governments. So attributing it to leftism is either ignorance or overt partisanship.

People are quite happy for Nordic models and similar systems such as the Netherlands, Germany etc. It is just far too convenient to strawman those arguments to say they are calling for full on communism. The popularity of those systems of government in Europe since the end of WW2 has demonstrated, that a balance is more acceptable to the majority.

We all know the truth is determined by the government going to court and saying so. I guess those WMDs were real after all since no one was prosecuted over those lies.

Give Jacob Wohl a call when he is out of his current court appearance for his schenanigans on electoral matters and tell him it must be a fake court, because nobody ever prosecuted over such matters because they excused a president for lying.

They're jelly cos biden is unable to without constantly calling a lid... surprised they arent reeeeeing that trump has unfair advantage cos biden has to nap for days after a few hours campaigning and there should be law that when biden calls lid so does trump :giggle:

The game plan of keeping a low profile and letting Trump torpedo himself has worked up to this point. Don't see why he should change it.

Saying that "right wing conservative governments have done it too" is not a fantastic defense. The fact is, liberals used to be all about free speech, now positions have reversed. It is now conservatives who will defend your right to say something they don't like, and liberals who will shut you up.

Sure, historically right wing governments have enacted censorship, but no one on the right is in favour of censorship now. You don't see right wing people campaigning to stop people saying they don't like. That's only the left, and saying that the right has any hand in it is either ignorance or over partisanship.

If you had read my post, you would know that I don't have much of a problem with capitalism with a little socialism mixed in. But that isn't what I'm talking about. There are people on the left - I know you are not one - calling for full on communism. There are people calling for the fall of capitalism.

You cannot have a German or Nordic model without capitalism. Not everyone on the Left says this, but a lot of the youth do. Communism is popular amongst liberal youth. Look it up.

All the leftists are now truly triggered and will have a higher voter turn-out than the Republicans.
