Reading Ian Kershaw's Hitler currently, but thanks for the concern.

You should try expand your reading a little. Maybe it would open you up to new lines of thinking which will help balance your internalized terror of right wing extremism.

It's naked voter suppression. How are you not outraged by this blatant anti-democratic behaviour, Chris? Sincere question.

And they're trying to limit in-person and absentee voting in Harris County.

Well this measure doesn't actually prevent people from voting per se. Isn't the whole point of mail in ballots to mail them using the USPS? I am thinking this will probably be challenged in court and overturned.

This is what I posted:

Again. This is the search string. I tested it on another PC and it works just fine.

On another PC? Sure, why not.

Thing is, I’m in front of the teevee watching my team play Arsenal, and the MyBB hijinks are happening... on my phone... where the link still won’t work.

Tell me what you want me to Google and I’ll do it or wait another nine minutes and time added on.

See, I’m cool like that.

Things are getting worse and worse for Trump's numbers. Everyone expected the race to tighten towards the end but it's actually moving further from Trump. He doesn't really have time to make up the deficit at this point; naked attacks on democracy are about all he can do.

That said, the polls we did get Wednesday, along with those we’ve seen over the last few days, are among some of the worst news that President Trump has received since the Republican convention, including from some of the firms that usually offer the president his best news.

Another good post-debate poll for Biden. We talked Wednesday morning about the post-debate “instapolls,” which found that most debate watchers thought Joe Biden won Tuesday night. Later Wednesday, there was a late entry from FiveThirtyEight and Ipsos, who re-interviewed voters to see whether anyone’s views had shifted after the debate.

All of the results were good for Mr. Biden. His favorability ratings increased, while Mr. Trump’s ratings declined. Voters said Mr. Biden did a good job; they said Mr. Trump did a poor job. There was relatively little evidence that people changed their minds after the debate, but there was evidence that voters subtly became likelier to support Mr. Biden — say, rating yourself as certain to vote for Mr. Biden, rather than as very likely. And of course, Mr. Trump is the one who’s trailing and needs voters to change their minds.

Even Rasmussen and Trafalgar show Biden ahead

It's trying to make it harder to vote, including in-person, for only the people who are less likely to support them. Regardless what the court does - how can you not find it despicable?

@OrbitalDawn - now might have a sprinkle on Ohio after reading this. Odds have already shortened from 2.4 to 2.2 on Biden overnight.

Interesting read, and exposes Trump's failure, including pre-covid.

"Compounding these demographic changes have been the declining socioeconomic conditions in Ohio. The Trump tax cuts did not lead to substantial job growth and rising wages. Although the national economy had strengthened modestly in recent years—until the pandemic—growth in wages and jobs has been slower in Ohio. A study issued just this week from the Century Foundation, Policy Matters Ohio, and the Groundwork Collaborative documents that while the number of manufacturing jobs has increased (by less than 1 percent) nationally during Trump’s term, in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin, they’ve actually declined. Poverty rates are also up in both urban and, more recently, suburban parts of the state. Some rural areas have seen “unprecedented” unemployment, even as Republicans brag that the economy is booming in Ohio."

Hurt? Lol no.

Bored ... yes!

Amazing how you retreated to this after I showed you 95% of protests have been peaceful.
I asked you for your sources. You gave one, but no mention of your numbers in it. Then you started playing games, references, margins of error, njadda njadda, warra warra ...

So it's was another of your P-droppings. Apologies if I don't have time for your pigeon chess. ;)

I provided the source and it provides the facts which you don't want to address, so now you dance.

The news article mentioned 93%. They got that wrong, so I got the data for you, to be more transparent about the subject, so you couldn't lobby accusations of strawmanning.

It turns out the data shows its actually 95%, so even more peaceful than I thought!
