Saw a You tube video about the problems that the US is facing, for years the lack of workers rights that other countries take for granted,

No federal requirement to give employees paid sick leave so people won't want to take time off to get tested or stay home if they fear they have the virus. So people tend to go to work even if they are sick. With the addition of a virus that can be asymptomatic as well as highly contagious and it's a recipe for disaster.

They may be testing a lot of people now but I think the damage has been done...

If they're doing 100k test and getting 50k positive maybe the test are too accurate.

Other countries don't get that ratio with just testing sick people.

Breaks down by state too... the big problem is NY when you see the tests vs positive, obviously high pop dense area... that should give you shivers when thinking about whats coming our way shortly

As above... NY data is insane, everywher else in states and world is like 5/10/15%, NY is like 40% of tested come back positive
 
We're at least under lockdown, and while it's not working as much in the townships I haven't seen a human outside here for days.

Perhaps my assumptions would be less biased if you put commentary to the video in your post, so instead of leaving me to make assumptions I could assess the point you are looking to raise?

Unless of course you are just posting the video for trolling purposes without any intention what so ever to engage in good faith discussion over the merits of what you want to achieve with the video?

Or, you could just ignore it and refrain from making assumptions and posting responses on something you haven't watched based on nothing other than the title, thumbnail, or person posting it... you're basically a movie critic who hasn't watch the movie and writing your critique based on the movie poster you saw at a cinema you don't like because they don't sell your preferred popcorn brand

Or .... you can apply your own logic, intellect and critical reasoning, which I know you have and are able to use very effectively on these forums and provide a basis for discussion, instead of just trolling with emoji's like a 5 year old who found a new button.

Your logic, intellect and critical reasoning, is failing you. Basis for discussion is simple, the content of the video posted. You want to comment on it, have an opinion on it and discuss it all the while not having watched it. You have no idea of its contents, as in this case, its just your incorrect assumption of content. Your assumptions and opinions on the contents you have not watched are not valid. There is no discussion to be had.
