The unprecedented decision, finalized late Monday, means that when recipients open the $1,200 paper checks the IRS is scheduled to begin sending to 70 million Americans in coming days, “President Donald J. Trump” will appear on the left side of the payment.

Biden deserves a Kavanaugh'esq type hearing. The justification for the hearing was that it's a lifelong position and the people deserved a hearing. Biden needs to be accountable in the court of public opinion on the allegations leveled against him.

And, now we have a precedent with such low evedentiary requirements, that this case more than qualifies.

I am sure if I had any inclination to look, there would be multiple examples of egregious opinions by journalists from many of your own credible media companies. Even Chris Cuomo came out on camera with how ridiculous they are. He is going to pay for that little rant, because no one dare speak the truth. The Wokescold crowd will come for you.

US is up to 26,000 deaths and over 600,000 cases this morning. Yesterday it was not quite 24,000 deaths. It's awful

Last I checked, none of those politicians where president of the most powerful nation of the world. Even when
Obama was, he didn't make an arse of himself on a weekly/daily basis..

Is it really that mysterious that someone who acts so un-presidential is talked about so frequently? The reaction to Zuma's stupidities was much the same on these threads but even Zuma didn't put his foot into his mouth as often as Trump does.

South Africans were not in general much invested in US politics during Obama's presidency.

Obama was well spoken and respectful, so there were no news headlines about Nambia or Covfeve or Obama accusing Romney of spying or saying Romney or McCain should be locked up.

The visceral sh!+ posting politics of Trump brought US political discourse to SA.

I recall arguing vociferously with many Americans on American forums about Obama and the birther conspiracies.

They were so triggered. Effigies of Obama were burnt and shot. For at least a year after he was inaugurated I thought some crazy guy was gonna try assassinate him, with some of the vitriol I saw.

That discourse never made it here in large volume. Probably also because we were in the early days of a Zuma presidency, the emergence of Julius so we had more pressing matters to complain about, than the existential concerns of American politics.
