53 928 Americans have died in the last eleven weeks.

Tomorrow we can look at Cape Town Stadium which holds 55 000, and Ellis Park with its 62 567 seats isn't far off.
You know more than that die of TB in South Africa every year. Death toll for TB was 68000 in 2018.

Funny how society managed to cope with that without violating everyone's civil liberties.

I posted a video in the covid discussion page on the lockdown response in developing countries. You can make some arguement for it in countries with large elderly populations. But in countries with younger populations, the costs outweigh the benefits.

But he also went beyond policy prescriptions, saying the pandemic might convince Americans that grocery clerks “and all the other folks out there saving our rear ends and risking their lives for eight bucks an hour” deserve a better deal.

@ghoti tell me more about progressives.

According to Trump millions would have died if he hadn’t shut down the country

Biden is so out of touch with progressives and their causes. It is a joke how he desperately tries to pander to get their votes and it will be even funnier to watch the progressives who vote for him get completely stabbed in the back.

Its incredible... headlines in msm should be something like trumps stupid question turns out to be a legitimate technology developed since 2016 and now being trialed in covid19 patients... instead, the tds and tds 'journos' report it to have it deleted from twitter and youtube as it shows their reeeeing and fakenews for what it is

Ill watch progressive media for you and let you know if this works. Lets hope Biden remembers this. Right now he struggles to get through a 3 point plan.

Looking through the latest media there is nothing yet, just stuff that comes out daily like this.

LOL, the Orange Dotard can't handle the pointed questioning from the reporters.

The president remained behind closed doors after advisers reportedly warned him that the briefings were hurting his campaign

After more than a month of near-daily White House coronavirus press briefings, Donald Trump stayed behind closed doors on Saturday after advisers reportedly warned the president that his appearances were hurting his campaign.

Trump himself referenced his absence when he wrote on Twitter that the briefings are “not worth the time & effort”. The president wrote the tweet on Saturday evening, when he would usually be taking the podium to address journalists.

Trump also announced his signature issue: “I would build a great wall, and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me, and I’ll build them very inexpensively, I will build a great, great wall on our southern border. And I will have Mexico pay for that wall.”
